Former Indian Premier League chairman Lalit Modi is set to marry Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen. Earlier, Modi tweeted that he has married Sushmita. Both got married in Maldives. However, as soon as the news of Lalit Modi and Sushmita Sen's marriage went viral, Lalit Modi once again shared his photos with Sushmita and tweeted that they are not yet married but will get married soon.
Recently, Sushmita came into the discussion by commenting on the issue of marriage. Sushmita has been in a relationship, but she is not married yet. About not getting married, Sushmita said that I had approached the marriage three times. But God saved me.
Sushmita Sen:- (born 19 November 1975) is an Indian actress, model and the winner of the Miss Universe 1994 pageant. She is the first Indian to win the Miss Universe pageant. She was previously crowned Femina Miss India 1994 at the age of 18. After winning the Miss Universe pageant, she has worked as a film actress.
Sushmita Sen won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the comedy film Biwi No.1 (1999), and was also nominated in the category for her roles in the dramas Sirf Tum (1999) and Filhaal... Lalit Kumar Modi:-(born 29 November 1963) is an Indian businessman and cricket administrator, currently a fugitive. He was the founder, first Chairman and Commissioner of the Indian Premier League (IPL), and ran the tournament for three years until 2010. He also served as the Chairman of the Champions League during 2008–10. He was the Vice President of the Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) during 2005–10. He has also served as the President of the Rajasthan cricket Association(2005–09 and 2014–15), and as the Vice President of the Punjab cricket Association.
As a scion of a leading business family, Modi is the president and managing director of Modi Enterprises and the executive director of Godfrey Phillips India.
