What you choose will determine the future, every election opens a new door.

Cricket was not in my life till the age of 10. I wanted to be a dancer, father wanted to be a cricketer. He was in the Air Force. There was discipline in the house. I am young, my brother is older, so I was allowed to sleep late. I used to leave the bed after the day. My father wanted me to take up sports so that I could get up early. Father made an appointment with Cricket. I joined the summer camp, where my brother used to go for cricket training. I was the only girl in the camp.I never played road or home cricket, started straight from a professional training camp. It also benefited.

My choosing cricket shocked my grandparents. He had different ideas. They thought their girl was playing in the sun all day. Once the ball hit me in the face and I got stitches. There was an uproar at home but my parents stayed with me. I was in 12th standard, there was a board exam. At that time there was a tournament to select the team for the next World Cup.My father asked what do you want to do? I replied like a typical teenager that I will give the board exam. It took a week to convince him to go and play this tournament, my father wanted me to leave the board and play a tournament where there was no guarantee that I would get selected. He wanted me to take a chance. This was difficult for me because I was young. But everything went well. I got selected and went to play in New Zealand.I believe your future depends on what you choose. Each choice leads you to a different door.

I am a comfortable person, I have never had ambitions. I have not planned anything. I just accepted what life threw at me. If the work was done, she was happy, if it was not done, she would learn and move on. You need to keep moving forward. Take time to understand yourself. The game taught me to keep moving forward.

Young people have to learn to focus:-

Things have become difficult for the new generation, the youth have to learn to focus. Elsewhere there are many things to distract you. This was not the case when I was 16. I don't have Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, now youngsters like finishing training, get stuck in mobile. Hopes are high from them and pressure is also high on them...

"Every day is an opportunity to get better. "

"As long as you keep winning, people are interested in you."

"Every match is a lesson Gives, you can find out by playing it. "
